Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will it be scary?
A: Yes. Our Scareactors do everything in their power to scare the living daylights out of you. Parents please use caution when bringing children through, as we do not want them mentally scarred for life.

Q: How long will it take me to go through the haunted theatre?
A: Every group will move through at their own pace, however, it will take roughly 10 minutes to walk through the theatre.

Q: How many people will be in each group?
A: Every group will remain small, with only a few going in at a time. If you come with a large group, you will be broken up into smaller groups. This is for the fun and safety of everyone involved.

Q: How long will the wait be?
A: It depends on how many people are in line. Last year's wait times ranged from walk right in to thirty-plus minutes.

Q: Will there be fog and strobe lights?
A: Yes to both. If you are sensitive to either of these, please use caution as there will be scenes that use these effects heavily.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The Haunted Theatre will remain open, as it is indoors, however, you may want to come prepared, as the line and exit will not be under cover, and you may get wet.

 Q: Will there be security?
A: Yes. This event is meant to be fun and safe, so there will be security to make sure things stay that way. If you do anything to endanger yourself, other guests, our scareactors, or our property, then you will be asked to leave without a refund and possibly face legal action.

Q: Can I hang out and watch things after I go through?
A: For the safety of our guests and volunteers, we ask that once you go through The Haunt Haunted Theatre that you please leave the premises.

Q: Can I bring cameras, flashlights, or cell phones?
A: You can take as many photos as you would like while you are waiting in line, however, do not take any while you are inside the haunted theatre. Also, cell phones will need to be turned off or silenced while inside, as we do not want to take away the experience for anyone else. Flashlights are not allowed at all.

 Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Once you purchase a ticket, no refunds are available. If for some reason, you must leave after purchasing your ticket, you can talk to the ticket booth, and may be able to come back on another night.

Q: Where does the money go?
A: All members of The Haunted Theatre on Hill Street are volunteers, from the top to the bottom. All proceeds made through The Haunted Theatre go back to the Griffin Ballet Theatre.

Q: How can I find out more information?
